Just a sliver of cheese this AM

The storm well East of the reserve was still on the radar with severe thunderstorms.

 The reserve was pretty quiet until around 0900.

The Blue Heron do not play well with others. The Egret had been setting on the drift wood.
The Heron was a grouch, no doubt still wet from the storm.

On the way into the NWR Big Red came out to visit. You can see the sunrise in the eye.






This bird was a show off. Course I was not fast enough to catch the bird
 dropping the minnow and the snapping it up as it hit the surface of the water

White Pelicans crusin th Hage..

The Pelicans were swimming back and forth gathering up  the fish.

After the pelicans flew off to take a break from eating the Egrets and Herons

 were left along along with their supporting cast.
